I'll be celebrating the release of my Vampisoul compilation of King and Federal R&B, "Teach Me to Monkey: R&B Hipshakers Vol. 1," tonight at Botanica, 47 East Houston Street, between Mulberry and Mott, from 10 till late late. No cover. I'll be giving away one copy of the CD and one copy of the 45 box during the course of the night, and I'll play all 20 tracks (among lots of other goodies).
